Of course! We work with Doggy Logs to provide you with a detailed report of our time with your dog. The report includes the check-in and check-out times, actual GPS map of route taken, any pees or poops, notes, photos, and more! We can also make a personalized checklist for your dog to ensure that we complete all specific requests.

The report is sent to you via email and text message after the walk is completed.

Here’s an example report from one of our happy doggy customers:

For walks, we require notification at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the walk. If you notify us of the cancellation in the 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the walk, you will be charged for 50% of the service. If you fail to notify us of cancellation before our walker arrives, you will be charged for the full amount of the service.

For sittings and boardings, we require notification before 10pm on the night prior to the commencement of the service. Failure to notify us in time will result in a charge of one full day/night of service.

We process refunds the same day the cancellation was requested. Depending on the method of payment, it can take up to 10 business days for the refund to show in your account.

No. We only offer private walks (one client) at this time. This way, we believe our sitters can better connect with your dog(s) and provide them with the love and attention they need!

We walk dogs in any weather – rain, shine, or snow! Living in Pittsburgh, we are used to and prepared for the fast changes in weather.

If our staff believes the weather to be a health risk to your dog, we will notify you immediately. If your dog does not require the service, we will refund you for the full amount of the service. If your dog does require service immediately (needs fed, medication, to use the bathroom, etc.), we will perform the services as requested in a manner that the pet sitter feels to be safe for the dog and we will then refund you for 50% of the service charge.

We walk dogs from 8am to 8pm every day! Please note that not all sitters are available at all times during our hours of operation. Please see each staff member’s schedule individually for specific times.

It’s up to you! There are 3 ways we can access your house:

  1. You provide your sitter with a key beforehand that they will keep on their person

  2. We offer key lock boxes with customizable lock codes for just $20. Let us know and we can deliver one to your house! This way, your key is always safely locked away at home

  3. You hide your key in a safe spot outside your home and let your sitter know where it isĀ (though we don’t recommend this!)

Yes.

We require the following vaccines:

      • Rabies
      • Distemper combo vaccine (DHPP/DA2PP)
      • Leptospirosis (may be combo’d with distemper)

Other vaccines are not required but are highly recommended.

Any exposure to the outdoors or other dogs puts your pup at risk of infectious diseases. Please also keep in mind that our sitters are always exposed to multiple dogs each day. This is another means of possible exposure for your dog.

The vaccines we recommend are:

      • Bordetella
      • Lyme
      • Canine Influenza

We also recommend that all dogs are on flea & tick preventatives, and are up to date on their heartworm test and on heartworm preventative.
